Roles & Responsibilities

  • Be the main point of contact for all Fig users, contributors, and developers
  • Engage with users across email, Discord, Twitter, GitHub, meetups, community events
  • Manage Fig's Discord community of 3k+ members
  • Build and maintain a self-serve support system for users
  • Write tests for Fig's shell, terminal, and operating system integrations
  • Help prioritize Fig's roadmap by presenting weekly support summaries
  • Contribute to Fig's public autocomplete repo
  • Write and share blog posts

Key Qualifications

  • Great organisation (Inbox zero type)
  • Great communicator (clear, concise, friendly)
  • Strong familiarity with the shell (bash/zsh/fish), terminals, CLIs
  • Fast typist!!

Bonus Points

  • Background using tools like Arch Linux, vim, neovim, emacs
  • Background as a sysadmin + familiarity with servers, remote machines etc
  • Familiarity with web technologies like typescript, react, html/css
